What the Trust Network is
The Trust Network is the backbone of every price you see in PRIXO’s comparison table. When a contributor submits a price — by uploading a screenshot or receipt — that price enters the pipeline as unverified. Other contributors then confirm or dispute it. Once a price collects enough weighted confirmations, it graduates to verified and becomes eligible to appear in comparison results and win the cheapest badge. The system is deliberately community-sourced rather than purely scraped, because human contributors can capture nuances — promotional prices, branch-level differences, out-of-stock substitutions — that automated tools miss.Price status lifecycle
Every price in the database moves through a defined set of statuses:Unverified 🕐
The price was just submitted and has not yet received enough confirmations. It is visible in search results with an unverified label, but it cannot win the cheapest badge.
Verified ✅
The price has accumulated enough weighted confirmations from Trust Network contributors to cross the verification threshold. It qualifies for the cheapest badge and is the figure PRIXO treats as ground truth.
Disputed ⚡
Two or more contributors have submitted conflicting prices for the same item and platform. The price is flagged and hidden from the winner comparison until the community resolves the conflict.
Stale ⚠️
The last confirmation is more than 7 days old. The price is still shown in results for reference, but the stale label signals that it may no longer reflect the current checkout total.
Confirmation weights by trust level
Not every confirmation counts the same. PRIXO assigns each contributor a trust level based on their track record of accurate submissions and confirmed prices. When you confirm a price, your trust level determines how much weight that confirmation adds toward the verification threshold. Higher-level contributors carry more weight, so prices they confirm reach verified status faster. In practice, prices are most robustly verified by a mix of contributors at different levels — the system is designed so that a combination of newer and experienced contributors can together meet the threshold.How to confirm a price
When you browse search results, any price with the unverified or stale label shows a “Confirm price” button. Tapping it lets you verify that the price matches what you recently saw on that platform — no screenshot required for a confirmation, just your attestation. Every accepted confirmation earns you Trust Points, which count toward raising your trust level.Base price proposals
The restaurant base price row in the comparison table is especially important because it anchors the markup percentage shown for every platform. If you think the base price is wrong — for example, a restaurant recently changed its dine-in menu price — you can propose a correction:- Tap the “Propose correction” link in the base price row.
- Enter the new price and optionally attach a photo of the restaurant’s menu or price board.
- Your proposal enters a community vote. Once enough contributors vote to approve the correction, PRIXO updates the base price for all comparisons.
How AI extracts prices from screenshots and receipts
When you upload a screenshot from a delivery app or a photo of a receipt, PRIXO’s extraction pipeline processes it automatically:- PRIXO’s AI reads the image and identifies line items: dish name, item price, delivery fee, service charge, VAT, and order total.
- The extracted values are mapped to PRIXO’s data model and pre-filled into the submission form for you to review and confirm.
- If the AI is not confident about a value — for example, the text is blurry or partially cropped — it leaves that field blank and asks you to fill it in manually.
Why verified data matters
The cheapest badge that PRIXO awards in the comparison table is reserved exclusively for verified prices. If a platform’s price is unverified or stale, it can still appear in the table so you have a full picture, but PRIXO does not declare it the winner because unconfirmed data could mislead you into choosing a platform that is actually more expensive. This policy means the badge is meaningful: when you see ⭐ next to a platform, you know that verified contributors — real users who have seen or paid that price recently — have confirmed it meets the Trust Network threshold.Contribution → confirmation → verified flow

Submit a price
Open a dish in PRIXO search results, tap ”+ Add price” on an empty platform cell, and upload a screenshot or receipt from that delivery app. PRIXO’s AI extracts the line items automatically. Review the pre-filled form, adjust any values if needed, and submit. You earn Trust Points when the submission is accepted.

Other contributors confirm
Once your submission is visible in search results, other contributors see the unverified label and can tap “Confirm price” if they have seen the same price themselves. Each confirmation adds weighted votes toward the verified threshold, and confirmers earn Trust Points for doing so.

Price reaches verified status
Once the cumulative confirmation weight from Trust Network contributors crosses the verification threshold, the price status flips to verified. It is now eligible for the cheapest badge, and the timestamp on its last confirmation resets the 7-day freshness clock.

Keep prices fresh
Verified prices age out to stale after 7 days if no new confirmations arrive. You can re-confirm a stale price the same way you confirm an unverified one — and you earn Trust Points for doing so, keeping the data fresh for everyone.
