Confirming prices is how PRIXO’s Trust Network decides which submissions are reliable. When you confirm a snapshot, you’re telling the community that the price shown matches what you’ve seen on that platform. Each confirmation moves the submission closer to Verified status, making it the primary result shown to everyone who searches for that dish. It’s one of the quickest ways to earn points and directly improve the quality of data your fellow users rely on.

Why confirmations matter

A snapshot submitted by any single user starts as unverified. It needs enough confirmation weight before PRIXO marks it as verified and awards it the ⭐ badge in search results. Confirmations from users with higher trust levels carry more weight, so experienced contributors move prices to verified faster — but every confirmation counts.

Points you earn

  • +3 points every time you confirm another user’s snapshot
  • The original submitter earns +5 points when their snapshot reaches verified status
There’s no limit on how many snapshots you can confirm in a day, so building a regular confirmation habit is one of the most consistent ways to accumulate points and level up.

How confirmation weight works

Your trust level determines how much each of your confirmations contributes toward the verification threshold. A brand-new contributor carries a weight of 1; contributors at the top of the trust ladder carry a weight of 5. This means a single confirmation from a long-standing, accurate contributor can be worth as much as five confirmations from newer accounts. Confirmation weight grows gradually as you move through the trust tiers, so every level you gain makes your voice slightly stronger in keeping PRIXO’s data accurate. You can see your current confirmation weight on your profile page.

How to confirm a price

1

Go to your Contribute hub

Navigate to prixo.ai/contribute/confirm. You can also reach it from the Contribute section of the main menu.
2

Review your confirmation queue

You’ll see a queue of price snapshots that need verification. These are submissions from other users — not your own — for restaurants and platforms active in Riyadh.
3

Inspect each snapshot card

Each card shows the restaurant name, delivery platform, item name, item price, delivery fee, service fee, VAT, and total. The original screenshot is also available to view. Take a moment to check whether the numbers look right for that restaurant and platform.
4

Tap ✓ Confirm if the price matches your experience

If the price and fees are consistent with what you’ve seen when ordering from the same restaurant on the same platform, tap ✓ Confirm. Your trust level weight is immediately added to the snapshot’s confirmation total.
5

Skip if you're unsure

If you haven’t ordered from that restaurant or platform, or if the price looks unexpected but you can’t be certain it’s wrong, tap Skip. Skipping never costs you points and keeps the data clean.

Confirmation rules

Your own submissions are excluded

You cannot confirm snapshots you submitted. Your queue only shows contributions from other users.

One confirmation per snapshot

You can only confirm any given snapshot once. If you’ve already confirmed it, it won’t appear in your queue again.

Skipping is always safe

Skip as many snapshots as you like. There’s no penalty for skipping — it’s better to skip than to confirm something you’re not sure about.

Rejections flag a review

If a price looks clearly wrong, you can flag it for review rather than confirming it. Flagged snapshots are checked before they can reach verified status.

What happens when a snapshot is verified

Once the cumulative confirmation weight reaches the verification threshold, PRIXO automatically:
  1. Updates the snapshot’s status from unverified to verified
  2. Displays the ⭐ Verified badge on the price in search results and comparisons
  3. Awards the original submitter their +5 point verified bonus
The verified price becomes the primary source for that item on that platform until a newer submission supersedes it.

Proposing a correction to the base price

If you believe the restaurant’s underlying menu price is wrong — not just a single snapshot, but the base price PRIXO is displaying — you can propose a correction directly from the price card. Community votes approve or reject a base price change. Proposing a correction doesn’t remove the existing price; it runs in parallel until enough votes come in.
Make confirming prices part of your daily routine. The Daily Quest rewards you with bonus points for completing a set number of confirmations each day — it’s a fast way to build points without uploading anything new. See Badges & Quests for the full list of active quests and their rewards.
