When you search for a dish on PRIXO, you see what you will actually pay at checkout on each platform — not just the menu price. That number, called the real total, adds the item price, delivery fee, service charge, and 15% VAT together so every platform is compared on equal footing. No more opening three apps to figure out which one is cheapest today.

What “real total” means

Most delivery apps show a low item price on the search results page and reveal the fees only at checkout. PRIXO collapses all of those line items into one transparent number upfront:

How the comparison table works

PRIXO ranks platforms cheapest first and awards the ⭐ winner badge to the lowest real total. If the restaurant’s own base price is available, it appears at the top of the table as a reference row so you can see how much the delivery markup adds to what you would pay walking in. Here is a simplified illustration for a single chicken shawarma (service charge and VAT omitted for readability; real totals in the app include all fees): The Markup % column compares each platform’s per-unit item price against the restaurant’s own base menu price — not the full real total, and not against the cheapest platform. This isolates the platform’s item-level pricing premium from delivery and service fees, so you can see exactly how much each app marks up the menu price before any fees are added.
The winner badge is only awarded to platforms with verified price data. If a platform’s price is unverified or stale, it still appears in the table but cannot claim the cheapest badge until its data is confirmed.

Price status labels

Every price cell in the comparison table carries one of three status labels so you know how fresh the data is:

Verified ✅

Enough weighted confirmations from Trust Network contributors to cross the verification threshold. This price qualifies for the cheapest badge and is the most reliable figure to act on.

Unverified 🕐

Freshly submitted by a single contributor and not yet confirmed. It may be accurate, but treat it as a starting point rather than a guarantee.

Stale ⚠️

The last confirmation is more than 7 days old. Prices can change; this figure is shown for reference but may no longer reflect what you will see at checkout.
A fourth label — Disputed — appears when two or more contributors have submitted conflicting prices for the same item. PRIXO flags the cell and waits for the community to resolve the conflict before showing a winner.

Missing platform prices and the “+Add price” CTA

If no one has submitted a price for a particular platform yet, that cell shows an ”+ Add price” button instead of a number. Tapping it opens the price submission flow where you can enter the item price you saw on that app. Every accepted price submission earns you Trust Points. Points raise your contributor trust level, which in turn increases the weight your future confirmations carry in the verification process. See Trust Network for how levels and weights work.

Quantity awareness

You do not have to calculate cart totals yourself. PRIXO understands quantity in your search query. Searching for “10 shawarma” multiplies the item price by 10 before adding fees and VAT, so the totals in the table reflect a real catering or group order. You can also use natural language phrasing like “five burgers from HungerStation” or type the quantity in Arabic numerals — PRIXO’s search parser handles both.
You can search in Arabic natural language and get the same results. Try “شاورما دجاج ١٠ حبات” and PRIXO will return a comparison table for a quantity of 10 chicken shawarmas. The AI assistant in the chat tab can also run the comparison for you if you describe what you want conversationally.
