# PRIXO AI chat: ask food delivery questions in Arabic
> PRIXO's AI assistant answers food delivery questions in Saudi Arabic, fetching real price comparisons, branch locations, and menu suggestions in seconds.
The PRIXO AI chat lets you ask any food delivery question in plain language — no forms, no dropdowns, no filters to set. Type your question the way you would send a WhatsApp message, and the assistant pulls live price comparisons, branch locations, and personalized suggestions from the PRIXO database. It replies in Saudi Arabic dialect by default, so the conversation feels natural rather than robotic.
## What the AI chat does
The assistant is purpose-built for food delivery in Riyadh. It knows the PRIXO price database, can look up real totals across HungerStation, Keeta, and Jahez, and falls back to a web search only when local data is not enough. It also remembers your preferences across sessions (with your consent) so suggestions get smarter the more you use it.
The three things it does best:
Fetches a real-total breakdown for any dish across all three platforms, exactly like the search page but delivered conversationally.
Finds the nearest open branch of a restaurant and returns a map link alongside opening hours.
Recommends dishes based on your saved dietary preferences, budget, and favourite cuisines.
## How to use it
Open the **Chat** tab in PRIXO and type your question. You do not need to use special commands or keywords — just describe what you want. The assistant replies within a few seconds and attaches a structured tool card below the message when it has fetched comparison data or location results.
## Example prompts
**Arabic:** شاورما ماما نورة كام على هنقرستيشن؟
**What it does:** Looks up Mama Noura's chicken shawarma on HungerStation and returns a full real-total breakdown — item price, delivery fee, service charge, and VAT — then compares it against Keeta and Jahez so you see which platform is cheapest today.
**Arabic:** وين أقرب فرع بيتزا هت؟
**What it does:** Detects your current location (or uses your saved home address), finds the nearest open Pizza Hut branch in Riyadh, and returns the address with a Google Maps link and today's opening hours.
**Arabic:** اقترح لي أكل خفيف
**What it does:** Reads your saved dietary preferences and budget from memory and suggests two or three light-meal options available near you right now, ranked by PRIXO's real-total price.
**Arabic:** 10 شاورما دجاج من جاهز
**What it does:** Calculates the cart total for 10 chicken shawarmas on Jahez — item price × 10, plus delivery fee, service charge, and VAT — and compares it to the same order on HungerStation and Keeta.
## Find restaurants near you
Beyond looking up a restaurant you already have in mind, you can ask the assistant to **discover what's around you** — no name required. Just ask the way you'd ask a friend:
**Arabic:** وش المطاعم اللي حولي؟
**What it does:** Uses your location to list the dining spots nearby, sorted nearest-first, so you can see your options at a glance.
**Arabic:** أبي شاورما قريبة الحين
**What it does:** Filters the nearby results to a category — shawarma, coffee, burgers, sweets, healthy, family meals, fast food, or what's trending. You can name the category in Arabic or English.
**Arabic:** أقرب مطعم برغر مفتوح الحين
**What it does:** Adds an open-now filter so you only see places that are currently serving.
**Arabic:** أكل قريب من برج المملكة
**What it does:** Searches around a named place — a mall, hospital, university, or landmark — instead of your current location.
The first time you ask for something nearby, PRIXO asks permission to use your location. You can decline and search near a named landmark instead.
### Where nearby results come from
When you search nearby, PRIXO looks in **its own restaurant database first** and only falls back to a general map search when it doesn't have enough close-by places of its own. This means restaurants that community members have already added to PRIXO show up in your nearby results — not just the spots a map provider happens to return.
Because of this, the assistant is honest about prices per result:
* A nearby spot that PRIXO already tracks is shown with its **community-verified prices**.
* A spot that came only from the general map search is shown **without verified PRIXO prices** — the assistant tells you when that's the case, so you know the price data is less certain.
Sometimes a nearby search turns up a restaurant that wasn't in PRIXO yet. When your search is the one that adds a brand-new spot to the database, you can earn **discovery points** for helping the map grow. There's a daily cap so the system stays fair, and the points you earn are shown on screen.
## Follow-up chips
After every response, the assistant surfaces two or three **suggested follow-up questions** as tappable chips below the message. These are generated from the context of your current query — for example, after a price comparison you might see chips like "Compare with Jahez", "Show nearest branch", or "Add to favourites". Tap any chip to send that question instantly without typing.
## Memory and preferences
The assistant can remember your dietary preferences, budget range, favourite dishes, and the restaurants you order from most often. This memory is opt-in: you are asked once when you first use the chat, and you can clear or update your preferences at any time from **Settings → Chat Preferences**.
When memory is active, suggestions become personalised without you needing to repeat yourself. The assistant uses stored context as the first step in its lookup chain, so answers arrive faster and feel more relevant.
## How the assistant decides what to look up
The assistant follows a strict tool-routing hierarchy to answer each question:
If you have saved preferences or recent order history relevant to your question, the assistant uses those first to personalise the response.
The assistant searches the PRIXO price database for verified and recent prices, delivery fees, and branch data. This covers the vast majority of questions.
Only if PRIXO's database does not have the answer — for example, a brand-new restaurant or a very specific menu item — does the assistant run a web search. It tells you when it has done this so you know the data is less verified.
## Rate limits
The chat enforces a per-user rate limit to keep the service fast and fair for everyone. If you reach the limit, the input box disables briefly and shows a countdown before re-enabling. Normal conversational use does not come close to this threshold.
The assistant defaults to Saudi Arabic dialect but understands questions written in Modern Standard Arabic, English, or a mix of all three. Reply in whichever language feels natural — it will match your style.
Do not share personal financial information — such as credit card numbers, bank account details, or IBAN numbers — in the chat. PRIXO's AI assistant has no need for this data, and chat messages may be reviewed to improve response quality.
