# Upload a delivery app screenshot to add price data

> Upload a checkout screenshot from HungerStation, Keeta, or Jahez. PRIXO's AI reads the price breakdown and awards you points for every accepted snapshot.

A price snapshot is a screenshot of the checkout or cart screen in a delivery app, taken while you have an item ready to order. When you upload one, PRIXO's AI reads the full price breakdown — item cost, delivery fee, service fee, VAT, and total — and adds it to the community price database. Every snapshot you contribute helps other users in Riyadh see real totals before they commit to an order, not just the menu sticker price.

## Why snapshots matter

Delivery apps don't show you the all-in total until you're already at checkout. The same shawarma can cost 8 SAR on the menu but arrive with a 12 SAR delivery fee, a 3 SAR service charge, and 15% VAT on top. Snapshots capture that reality. The more snapshots the community contributes, the more accurate and complete PRIXO's comparison data becomes for everyone.

## Points you earn

You earn **+10 points** for every snapshot that passes AI validation and is accepted into the database. Once enough community members confirm your submission, it earns **Verified** status and you receive an additional **+5 points**.

## How to upload a snapshot

    Search for the restaurant or dish on [prixo.ai](https://prixo.ai), or ask the AI chat. You can also reach the upload form directly from any price card that shows a platform with missing or outdated data.

    On the item's price card, tap the **+ Add price** button (labelled **+10 نقاط**) next to the platform you have a screenshot for — HungerStation, Keeta, or Jahez.

  <Step title="Select your platform">
    Confirm which delivery app the screenshot is from. This must match the app shown in your image — PRIXO's AI cross-checks the platform logo and layout during extraction.

  <Step title="Upload your screenshot">
    Choose an existing image from your gallery or take a new photo. Accepted formats are **JPEG, PNG, and WebP**, with a maximum file size of **5 MB**.

  <Step title="Wait for AI extraction">
    PRIXO sends your image to its AI for analysis. Extraction typically completes in **10 to 30 seconds**. You'll see a progress indicator while it runs.

  <Step title="Review and confirm the extracted data">
    Once extraction finishes, PRIXO displays the values it read: item price, delivery fee, service fee, VAT, total, and quantity. Check them against your screenshot, then tap **Submit** to save the record.

## What the AI extracts

PRIXO reads the following fields from your screenshot:

| Field            | Description                                     |

| **Item price**   | The per-unit cost of the item at checkout       |
| **Delivery fee** | The platform's delivery charge                  |
| **Service fee**  | Any additional service or handling charge       |
| **VAT**          | The 15% value-added tax amount shown in the app |
| **Total**        | The grand total charged to the customer         |
| **Quantity**     | How many units of the item were ordered         |

  PRIXO always records the **per-unit price**, not the cart total. If your screenshot shows 4 shawarmas at 8 SAR each for a subtotal of 32 SAR, PRIXO saves 8 SAR as the item price. This keeps comparisons fair across submissions where users ordered different quantities.

## Validation rules

Your snapshot must pass three checks before it is accepted:

* **Price greater than zero** — the extracted item price must be a positive number.
* **Confidence at least 40%** — the AI assigns a confidence score to its reading; submissions below 40% are rejected to protect data quality.
* **Platform match** — the platform detected in the image must match the platform you selected in step 3.

If a snapshot fails validation, you receive a specific error message and can upload a clearer image.

## Tips for a good screenshot

    Capture the entire screen so the item name, unit price, all fees, VAT, and total are visible. Cropped screenshots often miss the delivery or service fee rows.

    Avoid blurry or compressed images. A standard screenshot taken directly on your phone is always cleaner than a photo of the screen.

    The upload form accepts any image from your gallery — you don't need to take a new screenshot on the spot. Any recent checkout screenshot from your camera roll works.

    Make sure the delivery app's name or logo is visible somewhere in the screenshot. This helps the AI confirm the platform automatically.

## What happens after you submit

Your snapshot enters the database with **unverified** status. Once enough community members confirm the price, it moves to **verified** status and displays the ⭐ badge on comparison results. You can track the status of all your submissions from your profile page.
